Re: Borealis Navigator Pre-Release Thread
I thought I should quit Pale Moon and UXP but when I encounter the screenshot of this software I immediately fell in love with it appearance. I think I will be on this forums for a bit longer.
Re: Borealis Navigator Pre-Release Thread
It won't be easy for you. Borealis while having more advanced inbox configuration will lack a lot of existing extensions. Since it is a standalone Navigator and I have made a lot of changes SeaMonkey extensions simply aren't a good idea. But we will see. Perhaps we have gotten through to you on some level. Perhaps not. But I think you should get another chance to find out where you belong. But only one more.
We shall see.
We shall see.
Re: Borealis Navigator Pre-Release Thread
32bit ?.i may have missed it somewhere or is this leaning toward 64bit?..if 32bit i shall certainly try it.
Best.
Best.

Re: Borealis Navigator Pre-Release Thread
Since the source code isn't public anymore, can someone say if any progress has been made since the last time there was an update post here?
Re: Borealis Navigator Pre-Release Thread
I have posted screenshots of work as it happens.

The updates are appreciated! They let us know that the alpha/beta version will be followed up by a more-capable general release.

Curious, but compared to palemoon, how much cpu usage is there?New Tobin Paradigm wrote: ↑2021-05-04, 06:14You've been so intrigued and patient. Send me your platform details (OS and if applicable gtk version) by PM or report to my channel. Preferably both.
I am interested in knowing heh.
Re: Borealis Navigator Pre-Release Thread
Performance is roughly the same across all UXP applications provided they are doing the same thing.

huh interesting. Thanks for the info.
Re: Borealis Navigator Pre-Release Thread
Do not compare my navigator to their mess please. I have made more changes in the past two years to clean it up than they have in 8 save for mozilla rabid release bustages.

My bad, I guess I phrased that pretty bad, huh...New Tobin Paradigm wrote: ↑2021-05-05, 13:23Do not compare my navigator to their mess please. I have made more changes in the past two years to clean it up than they have in 8 save for mozilla rabid release bustages.
I am sure yours is way better, mozilla is well...

ShellService needs finished then I suppose I could release unstables but it won't have an add-ons site yet.

Cough cough
@daemonspudsguy - some of these are on the Pale Moon addons site, so if you get a Borealis build you can install them from there.
