Re: The Official Interlink Mail & News Discussion Thread
A message to the Roytam1 XPFucks and MSFN Hackers. I do monitor your threads even though I am not permitted my speech there.
Not actually saying my name when referring to me is blatantly obvious and rather pointless don't you think?

Re: The Official Interlink Mail & News Discussion Thread
I want to thank "PS" for their donation along with 2 others in the past few months.
Re: The Official Interlink Mail & News Discussion Thread
I've just noticed the Download Manager. I like it very much, makes it much easier to see large attachments being transferred. I've just donated again, and thank you so much
Re: The Official Interlink Mail & News Discussion Thread
Since I am running behind on the Preferences UI refresh because I am constantly doing many things at once... I am adding some controls to the existing UI right now so they will for sure be in the next release. Will post a screenshot when I am done.. Likely won't be AS pretty as it should be but it will work and give me some more time to do the refresh.
Re: The Official Interlink Mail & News Discussion Thread
There we are.
Additionally, when the new Preferences UI gets in I will be dropping the "Saved Files" override and just referring to it as "Downloads" and "Download Manager".

Re: The Official Interlink Mail & News Discussion Thread
A huge thank you to "RG" for their donation. I'm eating food tonight!
Re: The Official Interlink Mail & News Discussion Thread
Is the donation location for IL separate from that for PM? I had understood them to be the same.
Re: The Official Interlink Mail & News Discussion Thread
I don't eBeg unless it is absolutely necessary so I don't encourage direct donation to me. But I can't stop it either. It is, however, true that I am not the Pale Moon project.
Re: The Official Interlink Mail & News Discussion Thread
Is the calendar extension (lightning) doesn't work properly anymore? Last April i tried to sync Google Calendar it works (now it doesn't). But now when I want to sync with Disroot CalDAV, it says "The calendar is not available at the moment".
P.S: it works on TB91 and 78

Re: The Official Interlink Mail & News Discussion Thread
As I have stated.. The Calendar is included on a best effort basis. I did not want to include it but it was constantly requested. The community will have to maintain it. I cannot do much more than local function support. I can't support services I can't control or may be hostile.
Re: The Official Interlink Mail & News Discussion Thread
What do you mean by that?

Re: The Official Interlink Mail & News Discussion Thread
Exactly what it says.
Any improvements to the calendar will have to come from the user community, and not Tobin.

Re: The Official Interlink Mail & News Discussion Thread
How? Any suggestions? Maybe I can fix something if I knew the debug info/log for Lightning calendar, but how to access it?

Lightning source code resides at https://repo.palemoon.org/binaryoutcast/calendar. There you can create a pull request.

I would like to profusely thank MH and CM for their stunning donations!
Signatures
Is there a way to add a signature file automatically to an outgoing message?
Re: Signatures
Edit -> Account Settings -> Manage identities (button) -> select identity to use signature for, click Edit button -> Check "Attach the signature from a file instead" and enter the file name/browse to it

Re: The Official Interlink Mail & News Discussion Thread
Hello
I have a problem by setting up a new email account.
I follow the steps by the dialog and putt in all my data, but at the end I cannot set the outgoing server,
When I look after finish in my settings, the outgoing server is not there.
I have an other account from same provider and from this the outgoing server is there.
So what do I wrong ?

Re: The Official Interlink Mail & News Discussion Thread
Sounds like you didn't configure your outgoing server correctly? Look at your SMTP settings under Edit - Account Settings - Outgoing Server
