Orisinal - cute Flash games
Here's something that is now a PM exclusive thanks to continued NPAPI support - Orisinal - a very cute and creative set of Flash games! Great for young kids too.

Re: Orisinal - cute Flash games
I find it odd that I can play the "Whale" game without having Flash installed. Maybe because I am using linux?
At the time of this posting, I am using 64 bit linux Pale Moon 33.8.1.1 running in 64 bit MX Linux 23.6 (Libretto) Xfce.

Re: Orisinal - cute Flash games
You wouldn't even see the main grid of games without Flash; rightclick on it and see if you get a Flash player menu instead of the usual menu. Check about:plugins to see if it lists Flash. The Linux version isn't provided as an installer, you have to extract files to system locations so maybe that's why it isn't listed as an installed application.

When I right click on the main grid, all I see is:
1) Enter Fullscreen
2) Volume Controls
3) About Ruffle (nightly 2024-03-09)
And I have nothing installed in Plugins.

I don't have the Flash plugin, but it works for me (although laggy). It does seem to use ruffle instead.

They may fall back to emulated flash, but they do seem to use the plugin if available

Best use Flash when it's supported here, instead of letting it fall back to janky emulations like Ruffle.

Not just Janky; also incomplete. ActionScript is still not properly supported, even after this many years.

Re: Orisinal - cute Flash games
It's worse with sites that insist on serving Ruffle even if you have Flash installed.

That's just as much Ruffle's fault though, because they want their solution to be widespread and preferred.
