I am curious to know two things, which soundtracks gave you the creeps the most and in particular, especially red, blue and yellow.
I hear people on youtube, say a lot that lavender town was the one that creeped them out the most.
Funny thing is, that one barely ever registered as unsettling to me despite the lore of it.
Viridian Forest on the other hand unsettled me the most of Red Blue and Yellow. I recall as a kid it was the one track that unsettled me a lot. None of them really unsettle me anymore, but just wondering if anyone has interest in sharing.
I don't know if Tharthan is still around. But I would guess this would interest him somewhat.

Pokemon soundtracks are not very "unsettling", I think for most people the Lavender Town effect is just self-conditioning to believe it's creepy.

Re: For those who play pokemon or have played it,
Red, Blue and Yellow have the most eerie soundtracks I noticed.
And yes, most of them aren't unsettling. I mostly found gen 1 the creepiest.
I do love that about it though, its eeriness gives it, its charm
I could see people saying that about a few tracks across the gens, but none more than gen 1.
