Been finding out a lot about Mozilla lately. They are getting sued due to alleged disability discrimination. What's going on with Mozilla?

Re: Mozilla being sued
It appears to be a classic case of corporate takeover.
I'm fairly certain if things keep going like this, the people on top will take all the money they can and then file bankruptcy or something to get rid of any responsibilities they hold.

Re: Mozilla being sued
They already are, and they have been for years. Mitchell Baker is a prime example of getting cross-generational wealth in her pocket before stepping down this Feb to be replaced with another of the same sort (conveniently Mozilla refuses to disclose her salary...). They'll milk it for all they can. Mozilla is extremely top heavy at the moment with having laid off the majority of their development staff and about 50% of revenue going to administration.
I'm not really surprised about the hypocrisy on display here. They are still claiming to be "not-for-profit", as well. Nobody seems to care about it though. I hope the guy wins his lawsuit for them trying to give him a choice to either be demoted or "talk about severance" because of having gone through cancer treatment.

Re: Mozilla being sued
As I read the article, I couldn't help thinking that there may be more to this story than what is being reported here and Steve Teixeira's perspective.
But on the surface, it is a despicable act by Mozilla. I truly despise companies (whether for profit or something else) where those at the top earn millions per year, while those further down the hierarchy are targeted whenever costs need to be reigned in.
I don't care how many people are provided jobs by the business, or how much profit is being made, or what the current stock price is, I don't think any executive should be rewarded excessively.
