Michael Gambon was good as Albus Dumbledore in the Harry Potter films. He was the second actor who played Dumbledore. The first one, who also passed away, was Richard Harris paving the way for Gambon to play Dumbledore.

The casting for all the Harry Potter movies was excellent, I think. But yes, he was an outstanding choice for Albus Dumbledore.
