I am looking for an application that better supports DDS than Paint.net

Hello,
I am looking for an application that better supports DDS.
I am currently using Paint.net but with some textures it has a problem with showing them in gray.
In the game they are displayed normally with colors. Maybe someone knows an application that deals with them better.
Thank you very much for your time.
Regards,
Piotr

I use Photopea for all my image needs, so while I don't work with DDS files and cannot vouch for the quality of support, I know that it can open and export that file type, so it might be worth a try?

Personally I prefer local apps but thank you.
