I'm looking for a good USB Wi-Fi network card.
Hello,
I would like to ask for a recommendation for a USB Wi-Fi network card.
I care about the stability of the connection.
Thank you very much.
Have a nice evening,
Piotrek

If it is not for a laptop, then just don't. You won't get good speed, latency and stability with wifi, ethernet cable is your best friend unless wifi is unavoidable.

This is for a laptop.
Wi-Fi is inevitable at the moment.
Unless. I currently have mobile internet and my smartphone serves as a hotspot for my laptop and second smartphone.
Is there a router for a SIM card with RJ45?
I'm looking but I don't see that both options and USB will definitely limit the speed.

Just do a search for "4G router" in your fav search engine or preferred online tech store. That should get you relevant results to compare. If you don't know what to choose I suggest you drop by your local computer store and ask for advice there.

Atheros AR9271 USB WiFi dongles are the old reliable ones that are beloved by the Kali Linux pentester folks (and me) and can be gotten on aBay or Amazon for $10-$20. They aren't modern or highest speed, but always fast enough for me and the only ones I've used. Support is open source and built directly into the Linux kernel.
I'm sure there are much newer ones with higher top speeds, I just haven't used any of them.

Thank you.
I found one router.
First I wanted to know if it makes sense.

Yes, e.g. I have a TPlink MR6400 router with an Iliad SIM. It has 4 RJ45 ports and WiFi. At home I use it for my desktop, with an ethernet cable.Piotr Kostrzewski wrote: ↑2023-08-08, 20:29This is for a laptop.

Now that I'm on holiday below the Mont Blanc I am using it in WiFi from a laptop. This router has to be connected to mains.
There should be also the so called "pieces of soap" ("saponette" in Italian) routers which do not require that,
