Alternatives to ebay?

Post by darkarts » 2023-07-30, 11:47

Could anyone recommend an alternative auction site? I've just about had it with ebay being unutterably useless in pretty much every regard and would rather give my (paltry) business to someone better, ie. anyone else.

A UK-centric site would be great but I'd happily settle for a general international site at this point. Any suggestions gratefully accepted. Thanks.

They've cornered the market AFAIK.

Gumtree is the only site that comes to mind, but I don't think it's auctions, only buying and selling at fixed prices?

A lot of eu countries do have local sites similar to eBay. I'm not sure what would be available in the UK, though.
There's Tradera in the nordic countries (it's growing internationally at the moment) and Marktplaats in the Netherlands, off the top of my head.
