Why is Pale Moon 32.0.1 so painfully fast on my PC?

Browser version: 32.0.1 AVX2
32-bit or 64-bit browser?: 64 bit

What could possibly be wrong? I have a pleasantly plump and slow system - never had any blinding speed problems, but this new Pale Moon version is so fast that my eyes are bleeding and I feel like I'm back to the ole' MS DOS 6.0 with 16 Megs of RAM (I'm not exaggerating here). I subsequently had to report it to the local police, because it kept breaking our neighborhood speed limit - and I hated to do that.

Any tips/ideas on what could be causing this?

The only reason I can think of is the fact that it's multi-threaded (as in using multiple cores), but that's still not a reason for it to be blindingly fast ?! Maybe your CPU is cheating spacetime laws?

Please explain a bit more what the limit-breaking speed you are experiencing exactly means/looks like ?

Actually, you can probably tell I was just making a play on words on the "painfully slow" post from a couple of days ago. Pale Moon AVX2 on an AVX2-capable cpu seems as fast or faster than any browser from what I can tell. Of course, I don't go to youtube or facebook or reddit or anime sites, so what do I know? It would be interesting to do some benchmark test comparisons of Pale Moon AVX2 and Brave or something like that.

Pale Moon is getting better and better, once it's fully supported WebComponent things will be alright.

You can switch on spelling auto-correction either in your brain or via add-on so you do not have to think about it while typing. This is very convenient when you have to type words like Citroën and you don't have the special characters on your keyboard.

Why are the Windows versions of keyboards so impoverished? In the German keyboard for Linux, I can use AltGr-Ü for a diaeresis. (Shift-)AltGr is enough for me to type in any language using the Latin alphabet, the only caveat being that only the Turkish, not Rumanian forms of Ş and Ţ are available.
