I searched a bit and could not find anyone who's posted a job solicitation on the forum.
My place of work is looking to hire in the tech space, and I think some members here might fit the bill.
I'm asking here if that is allowed. If so, which sub-forum (here in Off-Topic) should I post it to?
If not allowed, hopefully this question will come up in searches in the future and alert users to this fact.
I am happy to provide more details if that helps make a decision (location, type of work, etc.) but I've left those off to avoid this being a post about the job, you know?
Cheers!
Looking to hire, are tech job postings allowed here?

Honestly, I'd rather you did not. Given, off-topic is pretty much a free-for-all, but I'd rather keep it non-commercial.
Given, if people are looking for work reading this, nothing is stopping them from privately messaging you for details

It won't, because off-topic is excluded from search indexing.

Thanks for the reply. I'll keep the job posting off the forum.
Now back to updating some DB table collation to allow emoji in last names.

Off-topic:
I wouldn't phrase it as harshly as he did, but refer to the lyrics of that one Weird Al Yankovic song from the 2010s, which commented on this.
Decreased intelligence within the general population. Either that, or bad taste.

That's a smiley, not something that is part of the emoji block in Unicode; the emoji block in Unicode is what is in the English language more or less the sole popular meaning of "emoji."
