Problem with transferring data/files from HTC Touch Diamond Windows Mobile 6.1

Unread post by mtosev » 2022-10-23, 21:48

Well I'm trying to transfer some files from my old HTC Touch Diamond and I ran into a problem. I've connected the phone via USB to my Windows 10 computer and in Windows explorer I see the files/folders on the phone but that's not all of them sadly. In the phone's settings it says something like this: internal storage won't be visible in phone PC sharing mode. Well I tried Bluetooth but I can't get the phone to connect to the computer. Windows asks for Bluetooth password / pin when I try to connect the devices. No pin / password gets displayed on the phone and obviously the connection fails.

I'm out of ideas and maybe someone else can give some advice. Thanks.

It's been ages since I used a Windows phone, but some idea: is it possible to copy files from internal storage to a memory card on the phone itself, so it becomes accessible?

The phone doesn't support external cards. No card slots, only internal memory like iPhones.
