They're now adding support for stripping tracking parameters but predictably you cannot configure the list of parameters to be removed, and it doesn't remove the utm_source and other Google used parameters (big surprise).

Of course not. they want to provide that as a service (allowing them to more accurately track users "gather telemetry to improve Firefox")
