Thanks to Carsten Grzemba they got the latest Firefox up and running. They no longer stuck at Firefox 60 ESR anymore. The last time I used OI, they still stuck with 60 ESR and the performance of it is pretty bad. Pale Moon performed much better than 60 ESR. Now I'm no longer use OI anymore and I know you are currently running it, I wanted to know how well does the latest version of Firefox performed on OpenIndiana. I wanted to give OI another try. My work only involves Oracle Solaris (I'm learning how to manage it) but I used to have a bunch of illumos installed to try out how they differed from Oracle. Finally I removed all of them.
Reading the OI mailing lists I really afraid the installation and using of OI 2021.10 will not be straight forward. Maybe I will wait for OI 2022.10. BTW, Carsten Grzemba has got Firefox 102 preview available on OI:

Firefox was working okay for me on OI. The problem is that they've been struggling to get a new ISO out on time for some reason (there was supposed to be a release in May and there wasn't), and you have to install an old one and do an image-update.
