Howto Getcher Browser Do What a Site . . .

Post by JakeF » 2022-05-02, 19:33

does not want to do, or what the browser no longer does because of updates. #1Keep a copy of browser [or any program] that works the way you want it to. For instance I still use PM 29.1.1 because all the add-ons work; but with an update they do not, and there is nothing to replace them. #2Have more than one browser [or program that does the same thing]. FI, I always have the latest FF, but I never update K-Meleon [76.4.4] because K will still play U-tube with no ads as of 5/2/2022. Why? I suspect the evolution of the net has surpassed what K can render, but I can live without endless howto lose 500 lbs of fat today! #3Use portables instead of installs whenever possible, especially online. Portables can be used from any removable or disk, and with USB3 they're nearly as fast as run from disk. Last, don't keep junks you want private on cloud, online, on net connected devices. That's where removables shine. I agree with R. Stallman about phones, and watch Rob's videos about secruity.
