Graphics card prices seem to be coming down.

Post by athenian200 » 2022-03-23, 00:04

For anyone that has built a PC recently and couldn't add a graphics card... I've been seeing graphics cards in stock at various retailers recently at somewhat reasonable prices. I am not sure what happened, but it seems like some of the inflated prices and stock shortages are easing up.

I got myself a 3060 recently. Anything higher on the stack would have heated up my room too much.
"The Athenians, however, represent the unity of these opposites; in them, mind or spirit has emerged from the Theban subjectivity without losing itself in the Spartan objectivity of ethical life. With the Athenians, the rights of the State and of the individual found as perfect a union as was possible at all at the level of the Greek spirit." -- Hegel's philosophy of Mind

The "experts" are saying that stocks going to Russia and Ukraine are being redirected to EU (and its ripple might reach other parts of the world), but on the long run prices might go even higher, with important resource-production (neon, palladium, etc.) for the chip-factories being located in Ukraine and Russia, and ofc they will be more expensive, if available at all after a while.
