If you need a Chrome-type privacy-respecting minimum-Google secondary browser, try Ungoogled-Chromium. Check out their Wiki first.
It doesn't auto-update (except perhaps on Linux), so you'll need to subscribe to their RSS feed, or monitor the release page with PM's Update Alert extension (temporary download location for PM30 / for PM 29).

In this case the Ice Dragon I had was the newest version but I suspect there is a line (or two..or more) of outdated code that spurns the notification of some sites to update even if said browser is the most current.somdcomputerguy wrote: ↑2022-03-25, 03:31But on the other hand; maybe that particular browser really is like IE6 old, and they just don't to deal with a lot of user complaints so a browser upgrade is a good recommendation.
