Temporarily out of the running

Not sure what the best place is to post this so I'm dropping it here.

I've been dealing with increasing back pain for almost two weeks and visited the clinic for it today after getting in touch with the healthcare portal last week. Apparently I have an inflammation of the spine. It's been diagnosed by a physiotherapist and I've been given medication to combat it. Due to the severe pain it has caused I've been unable to get any sort of rest the past week, and haven't been able to concentrate on my work to do for Pale Moon/UXP and server/community stuff surrounding the project. I'm classifying myself as 75% impaired at the moment; I can still do some things for the project but will mostly be unable to do much brain work for it as I can't concentrate.
I'm praying there won't be any complications and that it can be resolved with the currently prescribed medication regimen (evaluation in a week and a half or so), but it will take an estimated 4 weeks to recover.

I hope people can mostly self-govern in the meantime and pick up some coding that should be done for the platform and application, as I'm pretty much out for the rest July at least.

I have known two people that have had spinal inflamation and recovered quite well with the medications.

In late 2022, I had a partial laminectomy spinal procedure over the L3, L4, and L5 nerves to widen a narrowing nerve canal to relieve the pressure on those nerves causing me considerable back pain so I know first hand what back pain feels like.

I hope the medications you are now using will help your spinal condition and give you relief from the severe pain you are now experiencing.

A little update that things are improving and I expect to be able to resume "as normal" soon-ish (probably next week).
The medication has worked well but it's slow to solve the issue as it's pretty deep tissue.

OUCH, inflammation of the spine sounds horrible. Three years ago I spent three months of permanent (as in literally, there was nothing that would shut it off, even opiods didn't do anything) paralyzing pain with badly herniated disc, and it was probably the worst pain I experienced in my life.
