Can Pale Moon Handle My Retro Gaming Tabs?
Hey everyone, just joined the Pale Moon crew and loving the vibe so far! I’m a newbie tweaking my setup, and I’m curious—how does Pale Moon hold up with tons of tabs open for old-school gaming sites? I’m talking emulators, forums, and walkthroughs from the early 2000s. Does it stay snappy, or should I tweak some settings first? Any tips from the pros here would be awesome!

If anything, Goanna (our layout and rendering engine) is exceedingly good at rendering "old school" websites, i.e. sites using the proper balance of html, css and js. I'd say just give it a try. You might be pleasantly surprised! Of course if you plan on heavy use, you should be using the 64-bit version of the browser and give it plenty of RAM to play with.

I'm not sure how things worked for you in the past with other browsers, but there is nothing in Pale Moon you should need to tweak to gain performance. It's not like versions of Windows where you can disable animations, sounds, unneeded services, and other cruft to get a performance gain. There really is no cruft in Pale Moon.
The only thing I am aware of that might be on topic is the about:memory tab but as an experienced power-user with some very old machines even I have never had the occasion to venture there.
