Sa&ve files to - always comes back to &Always ask

Hi.

This is it. Tried many ways but the download location ALWAYS comes back to
"Always ask me where to save files"
(Preferences > Preferences > General)
And it is annoying because this is not the first time it happens.
Every time I update Pale moon, it comes. So I rarely updated Pale moon these last few years.
(It is my default browser)
I remember that it is stressing but I don't remember what I did to fix it last time. It was long ago.

I'm not using "privacy" tools.
Palemoon PORTABLE, 33.4.1.
Win10 22h2, i3 9th.
