We haven't supported Android since like version 26...

It's not native Android, but it can be made to work.

Next year I want to get a Pinebook and use Pale Moon as the browser on it.

Yes, we're aware of this problem and already have a workaround for it. See Issue #2033 (UXP). Because of the abstract nature of the images used to verify working support while developing, this was completely overlooked as nothing was obviously wrong.

Processing transparency channels is also not implemented yet at the moment, but will be looked into.
