Pale Moon 29.4.4

Unread post by pm4eva » 2022-01-20, 09:37

I am not sure if here is the right Forum, so if not please move it.

I am using the 32 bit version (also a portable version parallel) and i got many Freezes with Pale Moon 29.4.x
Even with new empty profile and all defaults.
The latest 28.x.x still works perfect.

Now i updated to 29.4.4 and til now no freezes or other problems.
I must tell you that i use same configs and profiles like in 29.4.3.

So the question is now, what changes were made from 29.4.3 to 29.4.4 that all works well again (like 28.x.x does) ?
thx and greets

It's in the release notes.
There were only sec updates, nothing else. The build environment and configuration also did not change.
So if you see a major difference in performance between the two, it has to be something specifically to your system and unrelated to the browser code.
