site notification nagging

Unread post by netscape » 2021-01-29, 16:08

I've turned off every notification on this site in the account settings, but I am still being notified. Should I add an adblock rule to just hide the element? It'd solve the problem on this site and all other PHPBBs

I do not want to engage with that feature because I have told it to be off. Yet it is still basically on and nagging, and I cannot stand that kind of "we know best" by software publishers.

What are you being notified of? I take it you are referring to a phpBB feature and not the slide in notification feature of the browser (which is off by default)?
