Pale Moon Anecdote: The ONLY working browser is Pale Moon!
Today, something very funny happened at work. All big browsers (Chrome, Edge, Firefox) failed at downloading a file from the Xerox homepage, namely the Xerox Device Agent. These browsers just didn't proceed to ask for a place to save the file (in their standard configuration, on Linux and Windows).

Only Pale Moon did the job. Congratulations to the developers! I expect, you simply managed to not break something.

How does that help us?
Re: Pale Moon Anecdote: The ONLY working browser is Pale Moon!
It was meant to cheer you up. Did it work?
Consider normal users, who don't configure their browsers at all: They are confronted with a problem, they can't solve. That's quite a rare thing that a special browser like Pale Moon would solve their problem.

GNU IceCat is based on an older (but still Quantum) version of FF ESR though. And it probably doesn't use Google's safe browsing.
