How to close multiple tabs?
I often leave hundreds of tabs open. Sometimes I would like to close a large number of them (for example, tabs that have refreshed themselves to something different). Is there a convenient way to do this? I would like to be able to do something like holding down the shift or control key to select a large number of tabs quickly, and then press delete.
Any suggestions on how to do something like this would be appreciated.

Re: How to close multiple tabs?
Closest you have is the "Close Other Tabs" and "Close Tabs to the Right" in the tab context menu.

Re: How to close multiple tabs?
I have always assumed that these commands have an implied "all" --- that is they mean "close ALL other tabs" and "close ALL tabs to the right" respectively. If that is the case, these commands are useless for my purpose.
I would also like to add that when I referred to "something like holding down the shift or control key to select a large number of tabs", I was thinking of selecting or opening one tab and then using the right arrow key together shift or control to select other tabs to delete.

Re: How to close multiple tabs?
I have the ability to ctrl-click and highlight all I want to close then right click and select close tab which closes all I have highlighted. This may or may not be an added function of Tab Utilities.

Can you try to find out more about this? I can't do it on my system: 7x64 with PM Portable x32 28.9.1
Thanks.

You can also middle-click on the tab to immediately close it without having to switch focus to it.

Re: How to close multiple tabs?
If you use Tab Groups you can close entire groups, but they will be organized however you organize them, not based on when they were refreshed.

Re: How to close multiple tabs?
My tabs are all the same width with X on them so, if those to be closed are consecutive, I can just click on the X as fast as I can - works OK for a limited number, say a dozen - score.
