Quantum Moon
I heard a rumour that there is a super secret pre-alpha version of Quantum Moon for quantum computers being circulated among an elite group of specialist alpha testers. According to preliminary information the pre-alpha version of Quantum Moon is targeting Intel's 49-qubit superconducting quantum test chip, with future versions introducing support for new architectures.
My questions are:
why is development being done behind closed doors?
When can we expect to see the final version?
And will Quantum Moon support the latest quantum cryptography standards and be guaranteed free of NSA backdoors?

You shouldn't pay attention to rumo(u)rs. Some people do have a vivid imagination, though!

1. Don't post in all large text, it's entirely unnecessary.
2. Don't assume every half-brained, buzzword-filled conspiracy rumor you hear from every moron on the internet has any vestige of truth.
Whatever the hell Quantum Moon is supposed to be, it likely doesn't exist. The dev team here isn't Google and doesn't have access to imaginary technology like quantum computers.

Nowhere does it say anything in the forum rules that everyone is obliged to use the default font size.
Do you also walk around in public telling everyone to wear the same size, color and type of clothes and
to speak with the same accent, dialect, tone of voice and volume level? No, I did not think so.
Oh yeah, I forgot, no individuality is allowed on internet forums.
Also, it is entirely necessary because the default text size looks tiny on my screen and hurts my eyes.
And what is a "conspiracy rumour" and how does it differ from a regular rumour?
Yes, I know, burning office furniture causes buildings to collapse.
Do not assume that every half-brained official mainstream narrative has any vestige of truth, and that the government would never lie to you.
Edited by satrow and locked: default font size only please, this isn't your personal playground.

So you're asking for a new rule to be added to cover this and to be banned for retroactively violating it, eh?

Re: Quantum Moon
It's like asking everyone to yell at the tops of their lungs because you can't hear them and won't use a hearing aide. Instead of posting in all large text, use a screen reader or magnifier (or an add-on like NoSquint).Someone Else wrote: ↑2020-03-12, 13:09Nowhere does it say anything in the forum rules that everyone is obliged to use the default font size.

Your rumor alleges that some super-secret tech is being cooked up behind closed doors, and almost implies some level of malice. This is simply untrue.Someone Else wrote: ↑2020-03-12, 13:09And what is a "conspiracy rumour" and how does it differ from a regular rumour?

Re: Quantum Moon
So you only know of two volume levels or tones of voice, a faint whisper or yelling?
Do you always see the world in black and white? It is either 0 or 1 with you? Been spending too much time in an imaginary binary online reality?
If someone is talking too quietly, then no, I will not ask them to yell, I will ask them to speak a bit louder. Same thing if someone is talking too fast. You ask them to talk slower, which I am sure they will not interpret as a crawl of one word per 5 seconds.
Your analogy is lame.

I have better things to do then to try to argue why formatting an entire post in large font, bold font, or colored font is extremely annoying for everyone else. Figure it out, or don't.

*down comes the hammer* By the way there is such a thing as common netiquette. The includes some basic rules about posting and not being a total dick to on-line communities.

I knew the ending before anyone replied but I had hoped it would have been a more amusing journey to get there.
Disappointed.

I admit I'm stupider than most, but why was the original post allowed to exist for more than a fraction of a fraction of a fraction of a fraction of a nano-second? Just askin'. Remember, I'm stupider than most.

Re: Quantum Moon
... Well if there is a rumor then might as well answer a question about it if the person took the time to post about it, no?
Unless you would prefer we just delete everything we don't want to hear, but I don't think that'll score many points for anyone

Some things can just be ignored. That post seems like it qualifies, if not being deleted.
