I had to open the forum in Opera, because I keep getting a 403 - Forbidden - nginx message when I try to access it in Pale Moon....?
I use the proper link from the main Pale Moon portal menu...

That's strange -- can you please copy the exact URL that you get the 403 on and paste it here?

Judging by your screenshot you have NoScript installed...
It can (and will) cause weird issues like this and can even crash your browser outright. booting in safe mode probably cleared some of what it had messed up but it's quite possible this will reoccur.

The message seems to be from the nginx web server use by the forum.
Are there any denied User Agents or deny if referrer is missing?

Of course there are denied user agents. We'd rather not have known bad bots get access.

@Hanna

Asking for help while knowing that your profile is messed up is only waste of time for anyone willing to help.

Off-topic:
Want to understand it better. What are these bad bots? Can't the bad bots / people spoof their user agent?

Yes they can. But if they don't, you can keep them out.

I've noticed that the Eclipsed Moon user agent extension will occasionally blank out all UA info if you leave it enabled; which of course will cause issues. I don't know if it will occur for other similar extensions, but deactivate it If it happens again to see if it helps, or just leave it deactivated until you will need it for the required sites.
