Hi everyone,
I recently started using Pale Moon and really like the experience so far! I’m still fine-tuning my setup and wanted to ask — how well does Pale Moon handle having lots of tabs open, especially for classic gaming sites? I often visit old emulator pages, vintage forums, and walkthrough archives from the 2000s.
Does the browser stay responsive with that kind of load, or are there some settings I should adjust first? Any performance tips or tweaks from seasoned users would be greatly appreciated!
Thanks in advance!
Is Pale Moon good for running multiple retro gaming tabs?

As long as it's not YT (or sites/pages with lots of embedded YT vids, or vids in general, like twitch, that you have active), or a javascript bloated/mainstream site, then you should be fine. Depending on how many "a lot" is. And your RAM amount.
Some useful addons and settings changes to trim useless stuff and aid having more tabs would be;

With the filterlist https://gist.github.com/Craftplacer/040 ... 4c92d9c65b
In fact, the whole of filterlists setup can be a bit intricate so don't be afraid to ask in the forums if any issues come up.

Tools > Preferences > Tabs: Don't load tabs until selected
About:config's "media.autoplay.enabled" set to false
I'd also highly suggest using Bookmarks whenever you can, as having lots of tabs open (and active) is a mostly useless drain on resources.

I regularly visit BubbleBox and NotDoppler; both have been perfectly preserved since the noughts. Their Flash games run smoothly and natively, even on my thirteen-year-old computer with only five gigabytes store, without any special adjustments.
