Is it possible to config PMoon to play a sound when a download has been completed?
Re: Download finished
Ya know, it takes almost no time to download Pale Moon. Why would this be a thing?

Re: Download finished
He didn't say it was for downloading PM.
Status Bar Preferences has some visual options but apparently not sound.

My mis-reading, no doubt. Thanks for pointing that out.

Re: Download finished
Use GetEmAll to manage your downloads, it offers the ability to notify with sound.

@ moonbat
I know but internet is good here, I never needed it.
BTW, other thing, one thing is still missing. I can't WRITE a post in facebook.
Type and nothing shows. Copy/paste does not work too. This is ONLY in facebook.
Does it happens with some of you?

Facebook is a known headache, there are other threads about it you can search for. Don't mix different issues in the same thread.

FB has been notorious for refusing input from non-approved browsers for years.
Re: Download finished
Yes. Get the Navigational Sounds extension. It's available through the Classic Add-ons Archive.
caa:addon/navigational-sounds
The addon was intended to add the old IE browsing sound effects to Firefox. By default, it uses standard Windows system sounds.
"A simple extension that plays the Windows Internet Explorer start and end navigation sounds, popup blocked and information bar sounds, feed and search provider discovered sounds, and download completed sound."
Re: Download finished
Thank you, Figueroa.
I downloaded it and I'm trying to make it work.
Just started now....
It works!
In fact, "Download Completed" is the only choice that works.
Thank you again.

Re: Download finished
Back in the old Internet Explorer days, Microsoft had default sounds setup in the Control Panel for many of its browser events. They moved away from that and most of the options are still there, but they are blank by default. So, if you want those noises, you have to set them up yourself.
In the Options for Navigational Sounds, click on the link for the Control Panel Sounds:
That will take you to the Windows tool for system sounds configuration.

Re: Download finished
Yes, later I found all of this.
BUT...
scrolling and scrolling, I found one even better:
Download Manager (S3).
It allows us to choose the sound, see dl speed, remaining, colorize the bar by speed and many other things.
It came to be better than I wished.
I suppose that it is in caa because it may look kind of ugly these days.
Anyway, you pointed the way, thank you.

Re: Download finished
For reasons I won't repeat here (do a forum search), I recommend against using any S3 extensions. Just a FYI.
