Is that at browser start up?

Re: Everything Works!
Well, the screenshot showed FF using 60% CPU. I was thinking did you take screenshot after launching both browsers or was FF rendering a difficult page that might be causing it to use more CPU & RAM when you took screenshot.

No, as you can see from the picture below I got Firefox at main/start page and PM on the page of the forum

Re: Everything Works!
So the CPU usage didn't die down at all?

Not sure why Firefox would launch 8 subprocesses for just the home page... but eh what do I know.

Huh, that's news to me. Last time this was checked, Pale Moon didn't run at all in Xwayland it seems. I couldn't check for myself since I'm in XFCE, which is X11-only. Glad to see it works fine now in a Wayland setup!

Can you please use formatting of your posts only where it's prudent? Making entire posts bold (or larger font, or colored, or what have you) really isn't necessary. People are going to read it just fine without it.

Alright boss, no prob... Idk but for me PM is something special that I still can't understand how it's true/possible.
Finally I can use my setup/config.without any real troubles and closer to his full potential, yow knoww...
Re: Everything Works!
Welcome to the club

I discovered and started using PM in 2015 after someone mentioned it in a comment in response to the post where Mozilla announced that they were dumping XUL support.

Re: Everything Works!
Off topic: Now I just found how to stop one of the subprocesses under Firefox and then the memory usage becomes normal.
But still I believe that PM is the better browser and there's no question at all...
Good luck!

I've been testing a pentium 4 524 retro machine i got, and it is quite fast on pale moon x64. I Would say i can use it daily without needing my ryzen machine for browsing, even without a graphics card. I think this says a lot about PM performance gains in the last year.

Yes. Everything works! I am loving it. I use several browsers and PM is my favorite as well as most used of them all.
