Stand-alone application running off existing PM using -app?

Is it possible to have a stand-alone application running off of an existing Pale Moon (as back-end) using the -app switch?

That whole xulrunner configuration isn't the best idea at this point.

Theoretically, yes. In practice, XULRunner and the -app flag haven't been actively maintained for several Firefox generations or (to my knowledge) in Pale Moon. I did use -app when I was testing with early versions of Ambassador, but YMMV depending on the app.

There have been some uses for -app, e.g. using Conkeror has been perfectly viable with Pale Moon, but I'm not sure if it still works at this time.
