One of the notes of the release is that you've "removed CEIP"
What is CEIP exactly? And why was it important to have it specifically removed?

Re: "Removed CEIP"
(As far as it goes, & whatever it is supposed to mean?)
CEIP Prototype
Manages collecting user actions and events, logging them to file, and uploading the files to the central server.
Even if "Chatzilla Customer Experience Improvement Program" were correct, it would not have the same nefarious reasons to be that current Mozilla "telemetry" has.

Re: "Removed CEIP"
Yeah, basically a telemetry-gathering mechanism. It was not enabled by default, and it didn't gather nearly as much data as FF telemetry does.
