Instead of putting the password, it puts the username or the date...
All other sites I checked do not do this.

This is a difference in behavior, as Pale Moon will offer a selection based on stored credentials starting with v28.
What is displayed is the ID the separate passwords are connected to, meaning if you click the user name, it will fill in the "password for that user name" -- and if there's a date, the password was stored without a connected user name.

This was devised to work around 2-stage logins and other logins where there is no direct user+pass form used (like for your router, where the user name is not an input field, but a drop-down).

So, it's most definitely working, just not in the way you expected
