Re: Twitter buttons wont work
I have no issue like that. "X" to close the dialog works just fine. Tried in a private window. No extensions; on Mac.

Re: Twitter buttons wont work
I do not want offline storage.
It does not "ask permission first".
always ask is still not working.
If I set twitter it always ask, it wont work I have to allow ALL SITES and then it works, but it never asks and as I said, I DO NOT WANT OFFLINE STORAGE.
I "forgot about this site" for http-twimg.com and https-twimg.com and now it seems to work.
I think I'll have to go and remove all http entries cause I think they are conflicting.
Everything is https now.
That wont survive a restart and if I forget about a site in permission manager, it deletes the passwords stored for it.
So what is offline storage? garbage sites want to steal info with or just login information?
Why does it need to be so difficult to use PM now?
I want to remove http and keep https but I cant cause it deletes the password too. Thats wasting my time.
Why is it keeping track how many time I visit a site? Who does that benefit?
Why does twitter not function unless I set everything to always ask, then it doesnt ask anyway?
Even if I set Twitter to allow, it wont work.
ALL sites need to be allowed.
You do not have the required permissions to view the files attached to this post.

Re: Twitter buttons wont work
AFAIK, "Offline Storage" permissions (for individual pages) in the frontend does not make much sense because it was removed in the backend. Even if "Clear Storage" (and display the size) will still work but only in some cases. See also bug #1334411 (Obsolete UI for IndexedDB in Page Info/Permissions)
I cannot now create a issue (UXP). But I suggest doing it.

Re: Twitter buttons wont work
Confirmed.cant use the link buttons or the X to close the tweet.
But not related to "storage".
It is when cookies are set to blocked that the X no longer works.
(Can't fathom why that would have any effect on things, but it does.)
And this issue is not PM specific.
Guess you should as twitter (or Trump, as I'm sure he knows) why the behavior is like this.

Re: Twitter buttons wont work
Cookies did nothing for me.
I had to set all sites to "always ask".
I tried default settings in history tab, put an exception for twitter, nothing will work for me unless I set all sites to "always ask" in offline storage.
This is beta 2
Tried allowing 3rd party cookies for and nadda
