it's not the "firefox UI". it's called "Chameleon" and is the toolkit styling that has been in Mozilla platform code for a while.

Look at the PM27 UI (about:debugging), it's different from PM28 alpha/beta so the toolkit styling would be older (?).

Seriously, don't complain about some styling when we worked our asses off to put this new milestone together. If you don't "want" it and find it's that terrible you have to make a point, then by all means, work on improving the styling to make it more aesthetically pleasing. Design, Test, and Contribute!

There is absolutely zero reason to get up in arms about the current toolkit styling of about: pages that you likely shouldn't be using in the first place that are inherited from Mozilla as a matter of course.

It is important for YOU to understand that functionality and usability should take priority and be satisfactorily resolved BEFORE we go off half-cocked redesigning the thing. Another challenge to the internal design consistency of toolkit components such as about: pages is that they must serve more than one application style. Your disagreement with the current inherited style if wholesale reverted or made consistent with the Firefox 4-28 style that Pale Moon uses would force Basilisk and "New" IceWeasel users into the same position you have expressed to us that you are in.

We understand that this may be disjointed with say the Add-ons and Permissions Managers of Pale Moon as well as what you may be used to. We will get around making final design decisions about this non-critical aspect of the toolkit when more important aspects like actual functional matters are complete.

We are endeavoring to ensure things are working and sustainable for the future. Please get some perspective.
