The Self-destructing cookies for Pale Moon 1.0.0 add-on does not work with the Pale Moon 28 (unstable).

This is because it tries to use sdk/widget API, that isn't supported by PM28, so riiis needs to update it to use sdk/ui/button.

However, I recommend that you pay attention to the alternatives: Cookies Exterminator or Crush Those Cookies.

PS: While PM28 isn't yet released such issues should be discussed in Pale Moon UXP alpha/beta.

There is a functioning version of SDC for Iceweasel-UXP, it installs for Pale Moon v27 and v28 as they are building from the UXP branch.

There is a functioning version of SDC for Iceweasel-UXP, it installs for Pale Moon v27 and v28 as they are building from the UXP branch.

Self Destructing Cookies version 0.4.13 installs and runs out-of-the-box in Pale Moon 27, Pale Moon 28, and Basilisk. SDC 0.4.13 also appears to be from "Ove", the original author of SDC. Accordingly, "Self-Destructing Cookies for Pale Moon" will be withdrawn shortly from listing at Pale Moon Add-ons.

Note that SDC, unlike Cookies Exterminator or Crush Those Cookies, works off of and updates Pale Moon's native cookie exceptions/permission file (i.e. no separate whitelist or greylist is needed). Accordingly, you can remove or disable SDC at any time, and Pale Moon will continue to remove unwanted cookies (just not as quickly as SDC). Also, you can also gain addtional cookie control features by combining SDC use with other cookie managers.

For example, SDC 0.4.13 used with Cookie Permissions Button and Cookie Masters:

Self-Destructing Cookies for Pale Moon has been updated for Pale Moon 27.1.0b1 to 28.*. Self-destructing cookies for Pale Moon version 1.0.0 has been removed.
