Re: Startup options
I tried again with a clean profile..
Still doesn't work.
Perhaps the issue is somehow limited to the build that I'm using (Win64 Portable)?

EDIT:
Same issue with the Win32 Portable build.

Re: Startup options
Happens for me with both Win32 and Win64 Portable builds.
Perhaps both this issue and the one that I reported with the Menu Bar are OS dependent?
I'm using Win8.1Pro.x64.
Got another computer with Win8.1 too..
I'll give things a try there, and see how it turns out.

Re: Startup options
Tried it on my other Win8.1 computer..
Freshly extracted Win32 and Win64 Portables.
But issues (Startup options issue and Menu Bar issue) takes hold there too.

Re: Startup options
Let me repeat my question: is there any errors in the browser console (Ctrl+Shift+J)?

Re: Startup options
Dev tools are missing in this alpha, so I tried using this:
https://addons.palemoon.org/addon/devtools/
There are no entries for the actions related to the bugs.

Re: Startup options
No, they are included. I missed Shift in the shortcut above, the right one is Ctrl+Shift+J, and devtools add-on is useless here.Tomaso wrote:Dev tools are missing in this alpha

Re: Startup options
Not in the Portables.
..or perhaps it's yet another OS dependent bug?

Re: Startup options
Honestly I can't even imagine what could lead to the absence of the devtools. Something is really wrong here.

Re: Startup options
Well, just created win8.1 pro vm box and have to confirm there is no devtools available:Tomaso wrote:..or perhaps it's yet another OS dependent bug?
It seems other issues are also OS dependent.

The issue was solved and the fix will be included into the next unstable build.
