discogs and bank site problem

Post by SpaceStar1 » 2025-07-21, 10:47

Site discogs.com does not cut and paste in the dialog box anymore!
This just happened when they made more silly looking and unusable changes to their website.

Also First Citizens bank dropbox not working anymore (to transfer funds for example).
It was not working, then Basilisk update fixed it, then they made unnecessary sick changes again, and now again does not work!

cheers.

Could you post a screenshot or video detailing exactly what isn't working? I went to discogs and was able to cut/paste into the search box at the top of the page just fine. Same with first citizens bank.

Hey, thanx for checkin.
First citizens bank logs in but drop box inside, transferring from one account to another doesn't work. Its very strange looking thing.

Yahoo thing I'm sure will be fixed next time.

Discogs works on firefox with normal cut paste box. Here is is on Basilisk:

About discogs:
AFAICT it's because the search box is Shadow DOM and the context menu as a result is triggered on the shadow root, not the <input> element. Since that is a div, it will just show the normal context menu for page elements, not interactible/form elements.

You can interact with the input element normally using the keyboard but not the context menu.
