youtube not working with ublock legacy

Hi,
out of nowhere youtube page is not fully loading (like halfway garbled html load, giant icons all over place) and not working, with Ublock Legacy on (with off it works).

I clicked the X when popup tried to stop adblocking. Then delete cookie / cache and restart. Always worked before (then after about 50+ videos gotta do it again).

I didn't change about config setting or anything! What happened all of a sudden?
(Should be a real simple setting somewhere.)

Thank you for the very informative and very important fix above. I do not use Basilisk, but it also affected linux Pale Moon which I use. I've now got back all those sites which were affected and which I visit everyday..

Yes that worked!
But then I rechecked the box and it still worked!
Not sure why but just so you know. (using windows 10)

Maybe, filter maintainer just fixed that bug...

It looks like other sites were affected by a filter problem which was fixed independenly on us, see e.g. viewtopic.php?f=46&t=32568

I suggest to open a dedicated thread for uBO and moving all related stuff there

Well, if you ask the people in the forum here, they will answer that if the extension is not broken or if it doesn’t has known security flaws, then it doesn’t necessarily needs updating. I think they are probably right.
Now, regarding uBlock, the Basilisk’s uBlock version is not that old, but, even if it was, there wont be a problem if you keep the filters up-to-date (which you do).

And why is that a problem if these extensions are working fine? Extensions are the responsibility of the extension author, not the browser developer - be it Pale Moon, Basilisk or any other browser.
