.swf run outside a browser save in %AppData%\Macromedia\Flash Player\#SharedObjects\*string*\localhost
That directory is NOT populated by or related to browser-activity and is therefore browser-agnostic. They don't even appear in the list of cookies you can see in-browser.
NO BROWSER SHOULD BE TOUCHING THAT DIRECTORY!
However, I have discovered to my dismay that when Basilisk closes (and is set to clear cookies), it deletes them all.
20240511013826.win64 is the version I used.
I'm not sure if it's a portable version or not, I keep it in my downloads directory and I believe it was simply unzipped there, not installed so I think it's portable.
Not sure if that would make any difference.
(I haven't extensively tested this, might not be clearing cookies doing it but closing Basilisk is definitely nuking my saves)
Clearing cookies impacts Flash localhost - Shouldn't.

Keep in mind that plugins aren't part of the browser, and any plugin can touch anything it wants (and which it has access to/permissions for). NPAPI plugins are .dll files which are binary executables that will be able to do whatever any other application launched on your system can do. In fact, by default, plugins run in their own (low integrity/limited rights) process (although they can run as a dynamically loaded component in the main process as well), which effectively makes it its own full application.
Depending on how your Flash plugin is configured, it may remove what is considered Flash data on your system. That is, however, not configured in or by the browser you are plugging in to.

No Flash plugin is in use.
Basilisk is clearing the data on its own.
The privacy/history settings of Basilisk are not that of a plugin, the data isn't being deleted through any plugin.
No Flash plugin is installed.

When I said Basilisk deletes my browser saves, I meant BASILISK deletes my browser saves.
Not Pale Moon.
Not Librewolf.
Not Firefox.
Not K-Meleon.
ONLY Basilisk, even when I clear cookies in any of those other browsers.
I can only imagine this is due to a difference in the installation behaviour vs portable execution, OR this is an issue specific to Basilisk, which is why I'm in this forum.
It's not a Flash plugin doing this.
The saves being generated are done through the Flash Projector, then Basilisk deletes them with no Flash Plugin installed.

Verify in your add-on manager in Basilisk that you don't have a Flash plugin there. Be aware that installing the flash player on your system generally installs the plugin system-wide which Basilisk may pick up. If there is indeed no plugin there, then I honestly don't know what's going on.

The plugin is indeed there, however like I said the behaviour still appears Basilisk-specific, why would Basilisk be the only one deleting those Flash cookies? Other browsers don't seem to delete ANY of them despite as you say, the plugin being system-wide and seen by all of them (except Librewolf I guess since it's based on a version of Firefox without plugin support)

Perhaps Basilisk uses different plugin defaults. Not sure. I'll have to yield to Basilisk-Dev for your answer here.
