I've been tinkering with getting the Linux build environment I use for Linux releases (Oracle Linux 8 x86_64, GCC 11) to build i686 Linux binaries over the past few days. I've gotten it working and I've automated it in Basilisk's CI/CD workflows running on GitHub Actions.
Starting with the next release of Basilisk i686 Linux builds will be available. These builds will require at least an SSE2 capable CPU. In other words, if you were able to run the old Pale Moon 32-bit builds on your hardware then you should be able to run these as well provided your Linux distro is new enough.
There are sample mozconfigs in the repo if anyone has questions in regards to how these builds are configured: https://repo.palemoon.org/Basilisk-Dev/ ... linux/i686
