Basilisk 2024.05.01 Released!

Unread post by Basilisk-Dev » 2024-05-07, 15:26

Basilisk 2024.05.01 has been released!

This release uses the same UXP platform version as Pale Moon 33.1.0.

The autoupdate service does not currently support FreeBSD and macOS builds so a manual update is required on these operating systems.

See the release notes for more information.

See the downloads page to download the update.

I got a problem with the new update, i cant see anything written in the settings, i always see the same section no matter where i click, i made a clean install and before that i cleaned the registry using wise registry cleaner to ensure i wouldnt have any problems, here is a pic of what i see:

Also, youtube now is showing warnings about basilisk being outdated. I wonder if they may block it someday. :/

And the latest updates of pale moon werent included, are there any problem with them?

The favicons of github arent being displayed in the bookmarks.

I confirm the categories do not switch.

Hmm, looking at my commit history I didn't touch that file at all. I guess I'll have to figure out what broke and do a bugfix release. Thanks for letting me know.

Edit: I actually did edit that file in this commit. Will fix. https://repo.palemoon.org/Basilisk-Dev/ ... df306bab0d

Not sure if you figured out yet what the issue is, but in case you haven't: #preprocessor statements must start in column 1

Thanks for confirming.

Could you please check if possible that the sites i reported dont work for you? I'm wondering if this only happens with me. :/

I right-clicked to hide the recently bookmarked sites in the bookmarks and now it creates 2 lines below the "Other Bookmarks" shortcut, this didnt happen before this version.

As I always update manually, I am pleased to say my update went quite well & I will look forward to using Basilisk as always.

Thank you, & I sincerely hope all is well with yourself & your family.

Cheers..... Image
