You should ask for help and people will show up.Basilisk-Dev wrote: ↑2023-04-09, 17:24Unfortunately there are a lot of addons that supported Basilisk in the past that dropped their support when Moonchild originally dropped development of the Basilisk project. I've contacted a few of those addon developers and submitted PRs to reinstate Basilisk support but so far I have not gotten a single response from anyone.
For example, I submitted this PR to the Pure URL addon 8 months ago.
I am a single person. dbsoft supplied the builds for ARM Linux, Mac, and FreeBSD in the most recent Basilisk release, but other than that no one else has seemed to show any interest in helping out with Basilisk releases.

In general when it comes to open source projects this has not been my experience. 99% of the time in my experience, interactions with people through open source projects that are not general conversation like you and I are having right now usually go along the lines of "Hey will you add X feature?" or "Hey will you fix X?".
The majority of the people here are actually capable of rational thought and don't fall in the above category. The number of people throughout modern society who are capable of rational independent thought seems to shrink more and more by the day, so coming here is refreshing most of the time even if I don't post often.

That being said, if anyone is interested in helping out with the Basilisk project feel free to reach out.

Off-topic here, but I saw your post about a PR for Pure URL yesterday - I myself had been planning to restore Basilisk support for it and have done so in the code. (I just haven't logged onto Gitlab in ages and don't check the notifications email account). There's some hiccup with the addon upload website that's preventing me from publishing it there, Moonchild is looking into it so in a couple of days the new version of Pure URL should be up. I think once it's updated from here it automatically shows up in the Basilisk addons webpage, though one can install it from the Pale Moon addons page as well.Basilisk-Dev wrote: ↑2023-04-10, 23:54if anyone is interested in helping out with the Basilisk project
