Java in Basilisk

Unread post by carbar » 2022-01-03, 10:41

I am a newcomer in using Basilisk.
It seems that Java applets are not working.

Form Java support I got this for Firefox:
Firefox
Open the Firefox browser or restart it, if it is already running
From the Firefox menu, select Tools then click the Add-ons option
In the Add-ons Manager window, select Plugins
Click Java (TM) Platform plugin (Windows) or Java Applet Plug-in (Mac OS X) to select it
Check that the option selected is Ask to Activate or Always Activate or on older Firefox versions, click on the Enable button (if the button says Disable Java is already enabled)

How can I do the same for Basilisk?
I would appreciate some tips.

You're too late.
Both Basilisk and the Java plugin for browsers are no longer under development since the only 2 browsers that people care about have long since ditched the underlying NPAPI plugin framework that Java, Flash and other plugins used.
Also note that you will need the 64 bit version of the Java plugin, not the 32 bit one.
