There are graphic issues with enabled Nvidia Image Sharpening. This not occurred with older Versions.

Never heard of that. Maybe you shouldn't use it on a web browser?

Which older versions?
You can try out older versions by downloading them from the archive server if you don't recall exactly.

Disable image sharpening in the NV control panel for Basilisk is one solution.

This issue should be the case from version 2020.03.04 on, I think.
Curiously, the graphic errors do not occur when the browser is started in save mode. And no, it's not from an add-on. I testet with new installed Basilisk and user profile.

Next observation. The OSD of RivaTunerStatisticServer (MSI Afterburner) is displayed in the browser. But also not in Save Mode.

It seems that hardware acceleration is active even though it is disabled in the browser settings!?

"hardware acceleration" in the browser settings does not completely prevent the (inherent and important) use of 3D acceleration for the browser window. It controls certain critical aspects of composition acceleration. So you can expect 3D/gaming overlays/applications to interact with the browser unless you disable them for it (which is usually a good thing). If certain 3rd party software like that causes problems with Pale Moon then you should report it to the vendor of that software so they can make default exception rules for it.

With Pale Moon there are none of these problems.
Also with no other browser used here.
Only Basilisk behaves strangely. As I said, this did not occur in earlier versions.

You can replace "Pale Moon" with "Basilisk" in my previous post. It still applies :)
