Although Basilisk & Pale Moon Unstable are based on the same UXP (Take 2), PM theme couldn't be installed in Basilisk.

So, Pale Moon & Basilisk are still fundamentally different, right?
Kinda disappointing.

Basilisk and Pale Moon are fundamentally different applications building on the same platform.
I feel like a broken record -- is it really that difficult to understand?
UXP = platform
Basilisk, Pale Moon, Iceweasel, Borealis = applications.
Themes apply to applications (UI/front-end). So it's logical that they are application-specific and can't be interchanged...

So the primary difference is the interface? Are the feature sets the same?

Off-topic:
Features are very different as well. Basilisk supports WebRTC while Pale Moon does not, for example.

A lot is shared, like the rendering and JavaScript engines, but the feature sets are slightly different, mainly because Basilisks supports more Firefox features that Pale Moon has dropped or not adopted, like WebRTC, DRM, ...Isengrim wrote:pavik wrote:So the primary difference is the interface? And don't forget what Pale Moon adds in comparison that Basilisk (and Firefox) have dropped: ctrl-tab previews, tabs on bottom, full customization, status bar, ...
