Best way to import passwords from PM

Unread post by paulri » 2018-04-20, 04:00

I see a key3.db and a key4.db. What is the best way to import passwords--do I simply copy one or both of those files, in addition to the places.sqlite file, into my Basilisk profile folder? Or is there another way that would be smoother?

I also have passwords from a Firefox profile that would actually be more recent than my PM profile--could I just transfer the key4.db file from my FF profile?

To export passwords from Pale Moon and to import in Basilisk, you should try this extension:
https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefo ... d-exporter

There's a Pale Moon fork of Password Exporter: Password Backup Tool - it also works with Basilisk.

Basilisk compatibility isn't stated on the APMO page, but it works totally fine.

There's FEBE too, which can export/import pretty much everything you want.
