New version? No release notes?

Unread postby Smokey20 » Fri, 02 Feb 2018, 14:18

I just got a popup saying to update to a new version. I have 2018.01.05 x64

I can't find any release notes. Plus, it was a bit odd that this popup came out of nowhere suddenly. Is there a new version and if so where are the release notes?

I get taken to http://www.basilisk-browser.org/releasenotes.shtml and the latest is for the version I currently have.

Refresh the page - the notes for v2018.02.02 are there now.

I do. Basilisk is released at the same time on both platforms.

definitely no updated release notes. Therefore browser refresh doesn't help.

Until the cache is flushed, you can skip it by adding an arbitrary parameter at the end of the URL, i.e. http://www.basilisk-browser.org/releasenotes.shtml?1.
Here are the add-ons I made in a spare time. That was fun!

meanwhile a mythical fairy did the update release notes. It appears without pushing the refresh button.
Thanks a lot to the pale moon team!

It is now the next day here and I just got on the computer. I started Basilisk and after a brief time, I got another popup telling me to update. THIS time when I follow the link to the release notes I see them!

Thanks, am updating now. :)
