Read and understand the error message you get. The answer is right in front of you why you couldn't install it.

My guess is that the user isn't familiar with the term "WebExtension"
In which case, kapqa: please read this (I know that the FAQ post is referring to Pale Moon, not Basilisk, but your particular issue is nevertheless covered by that FAQ post).
I have always had the habit of reading "FAQ-type", "announcement" and (usually) stickied posts when I first join a forum, but clearly not everyone does that. They ought to, though. It's a good practice.

Tried watching 3 YT videos, just for fun. Everything worked, but of course YT was kind of slow. YT's fault.

The existing version works, so no need for an upgrade. But will you keep building.... builds?

Is there any chance to get a new build of Serpent?

Re: Basilisk on Mac OSX?
Chances are probably slim. Someone would need to volunteer quite soon.

Re: Basilisk on Mac OSX?
It's not just slim, I'd say it's almost impossible. Someone will not only have to volunteer, but port UXP to Apple ARM ASAP, if you want to convince Moonchild that an official build on macOS is possible. And that will be a enourmous task to take.

Re: Basilisk on Mac OSX?
AFAIK, builds of "Serpent" were always on a highly informal, one-off-each-time basis, more so than recent builds of Pale Moon for Mac. What they're asking about (even if they don't realize it) is someone squeezing out one last build extremely soon while it's still theoretically possible.jobbautista9 wrote: ↑2021-03-13, 02:37not just slim, I'd say it's almost impossible. Re: Basilisk on Mac OSX?
Whomever that would be can take the (currently) latest tagged Basilisk release commit even if they don't have time right now. Not like that's going to go anywhere. Repositories have tags, releases and commit history for a reason.coffeebreak wrote: ↑2021-03-13, 02:55What they're asking about (even if they don't realize it) is someone squeezing out one last build extremely soon while it's still theoretically possible.
