Importing Firefox 57 bookmarks to Basilisk

Unread postby Terryphi » Tue, 02 Jan 2018, 11:17

When I restore a backup of Firefox 57 bookmarks to Basilisk the bookmarks are updated as expected but Basilisk shows this (unnecessary?) pop-up message:

Code: Select all

Unable to process the backup file

Pale Moon does not show this warning message.
Linux Mint 19.0 64bit MATE. Latest builds of Pale Moon and Basilisk.

Do not try to use a backup file directly. Backup files are Firefox's internal format that isn't compatible.

use "Export to HTML" and then "Import from HTML" to transfer the bookmarks.
